“I have a mare that was thinner, and last night I thought she had bloomed. It just turned cold here so I was happy to see her still gaining weight. So far the biggest difference I see besides the horses looking amazing is they are consuming a lot less hay. Last year we fed 4 head. They were on a round bale and we were feeding one bale every 6-7 days. This year the hay is lasting the same 4 horses over 10 days on one bale. The bales weighed the same and it has been below zero several times already!”
